ULA PROGRAM

The Ukrainian Leadership Academy — offers a 10-month educational and development program for secondary school graduates aged between 16 and 18 years. ULA’s classes are conducted 6 days a week, and students live on the Academy’s campuses. The program is built on a combination of elements of value-based physical, emotional and intellectual development.

PROGRAM FEATURES:

Self-development
Knowledge of practical logic, mathematics and financial management. Study of English, journalism basics and the art of rhetoric. Theory of music and musical practice, artistic groups (singing, painting, architecture and photography). Physical training and physical work. All that helps develop a personality.

Teamwork
Team building and study of project management basics. Work in the conditions of mutual support and fair criticism. Participation in organization of everyday life develops the sense of individual and mutual responsibility.

In-depth study
Global thinking is developed by studying Ukrainian and world philosophy, history and literature, religious studies, political science, national security and geopolitics. Practical classes in communication and relationship psychology.

Volunteering
For the duration of study, students create social projects, in particular, projects popularizing the volunteer movement. They study international experience of public initiatives, and actively work with civic organizations operating in various spheres. Our students learn entrepreneurship, study experience of leading Ukrainian entrepreneurs, implement joint projects.

Exploring Ukraine and the world
In-depth study of the Ukrainian language and literature. Monthly exploratory trips around Ukraine. Two educational foreign trips a year (EU states, Israel, United Kingdom). Meeting personalities who influence changes in Ukraine and the world, learning about their projects. All that develops self-identification and culture of the Ukrainian citizen.
